James C. Fratolillo, National Historian

James C. Fratolillo was appointed National Historian of The American Legion on September 2, 2010 during the closing session of the 92nd National Convention in Milwaukee.

 

             A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War era, Fratolillo serves as the director of the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission, a post that he has held since 1985, in addition to being a member of the Governor’s Advisory Council for Veterans Affairs.

 

Fratolillo is a member and past commander of the Houghs Neck American Legion Post 380 in Boston. He has held numerous leadership positions at the Legion’s post, department (state) and national levels, including a year as commander of the Massachuetts American Legion.

 

Fratolillo and his wife, Diane, have two sons,Thomas and Matthew.
